A little bit more about us!

Liza Wilson

In 1996, while living in the US, Liza was introduced to her first yoga class. She went to class without any understanding of what 'yoga' was or of any of its benefits. By the end of the class she had engaged in her most intoxicating, indescribable, physically and mentally challenging experience. Apart from the fact that she was unable to walk comfortably for a few days she knew that she had discovered a passion for yoga. Since 1996, Liza has continued to explore various yoga styles, including: Bikram, Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga with local and world renowned teachers. She started teaching Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga in 2003 while living in the Netherlands and continued her teachings after moving to the UK in 2004. In 2006, she began teaching pregnancy and postnatal yoga.

Liza's knowledge, coupled with her soothing voice, enthusiasm and non-intrusive teaching style, creates the right environment for the practice of yoga and enables a session to flow beautifully from one practice to the next. She is an open and warm-hearted teacher who encourages and inspires her students to integrate the learning from their yoga into their everyday life. Liza has been influenced by the teaching styles of Shiva Rea, David Williams, Bryan Kest, Francoise Freedman and Anne-Marie Newland.

Robin's motivation and exceptional drive, interlaced with a keen sense of humour, has gained him great respect as a young competent yogi.
